“Le Antichità di Ercolano” (Antiquities of Herculaneum) is the most important archeological work of the 18° Century. It contributes to shaping the style of European culture between the 18° and 19° Century. Its fortune started a specific publishing field.

In Rome, Tommaso Piroli engraved the tables for this reduced 6-volumes version of the book.
