The Lendava castle has been one of the most important architectural monuments of the area for several centuries. Today, the manor houses a museum and a gallery. The Lendava Museum and Gallery has two exhibitions in the castle. The museum has a collection of objects from the Bronze Age and a memorial room of Hungarian-born sculptor György Zala. An interesting collection of weapons and military equipment from the time of the Turkish invasions is also on display.
