On the western slope of Mount Metamorfosi is built the village of Kallirachi, which is mentioned as early as 1444, by the traveler Kyriakos of Angona. On October 26, 1784, the church of Ag. Dimitriou was inaugurated. The coastal village of Skala Kallirachis was rebuilt on the site of the old settlement of the 16th century.
