Chronologically, the oldest publication in Luka Celovic special collection dates from 1828. The magazine was founded under the title Serbska letopis in 1824 by Karlovac High School professor Georgije Magarašević with the wholehearted help of Jožef Pavel Šafarik, who was a great Slavist of his time.
