The Zadar Puppet Theatre has left a permanent mark on Croatian puppetry, and it is one of the recognizable Zadar cultural products.

Through 60 years of its work, the Zadar Puppet Theatre has become one of the synonyms of Croatian puppetry. The Theatre cultivates different types of puppetry techniques, as well as actors of flesh and blood. It creates plays for children and the youth, but it also produces puppet shows for adults. Zadar's puppets are magical and imaginative, and the Zadar Puppet Theatre is the holder of all important Croatian and international awards.
