General research and legal deposit library, founded in 1855, one of the most important libraries in Croatia. The Library’s collections contain over million items such as books, periodicals, parchments, incunables, manuscripts, maps and atlases, music scores, master and doctor’s theses, photographs, negatives on glass plates, public notices and announcements, picture postcards.
