The tower, completed in the XVII century, is about 64 mt high. From the top of it, you can enjoy a wonderful view from the Sibillini mountains to the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding villages.

On the pedestal, you can find the remake of the old mechanical astronomical clock. The quadrant of the clock represents the position of the 5 planets known in the Renaissance and it’s a symbol of the splendor of the cosmology of that time.

Every day at  12 a.m. and 6 p.m. you can enjoy the carousel. The mechanism moves wooden figures (automatons), depicting the Angel and The three wise men, bending in front of the Statue of Vergin Mary and the Child. The original automatons are conserved in the Town Collections of the Palazzo Buonaccorsi.
