A modernist chapel by architect Anton Urlich was a backstage for one of the most famous performances by Tomislav Gotovac:

Petition (Please alms! Thank you! Artist in supplication)  held on December 26, 1980 from 10.30 to 11.30 in front of the Church of the Wounded Jesus in Ilica 1a in Zagreb when he carried a poster on his back with the inscription "Artist in begging - Please alms! - Thank you!". With his performance, he pointed out the resistance to the ideology according to which society must not portray an ugly image of itself.
