Ex Moša Pijade Workers' University was built in 1961 to house a public school catering knowledge to the working classes via various courses. This building is the joint work of architects Stjepan Nikšić and Ninoslav Kučan and its multifunctioal features make it so important. It was the most modern building in the state at the time. Computer and Visual Research, a part of New Tendencies 4 was held right there at the then Workers' University Moša Pijade in May of 1969. Two years later, in June of 1971, a colloquium NT Art and Computers 71 was also held there. There are numerous photos documenting these events showing the lectures and discussions of scholars and scientists with the artists.
