Cultural information centre, founded as Centre for culture and information in 1964. was one of places where an exhibition on Computer art by Jiri Valoch from Brno in 1968. was presented. The exhibition accompanied the colloquium Computers and visual research, held on 3 and 4 th of August. The texts from the symposium were published in BIT international magazine, lauched in 1968 by Gallery of Contemporary Art, including essays of the most prominent theoreticians of art, aesthetics and cybernetics.
