Continuing his ideas from the 60s which were tied to the Gorgona group, the 70s saw Kožarić create numerous proposals for urban interventions which were, in the context of the time and place, deemed impossible. One such idea was connecting the space between buildings with multicoloured ribbons – air bridges that pedestrians could cross, unbothered by the chaos of traffic. On photomontages, the streets of the city centre are enlivened by colourful ribbons while the modern skyscrapers of Novi Zagreb are connected with golden lines. With these proposals, Kožarić, then in his fifties, actively participated in New Artistic Practices which were carried by a younger generation of artists.
