On the occasion of the celebration of the 900^th anniversary of the Zagreb (1994) Archdiocese, buildings were renovated, new sculptures were placed and old ones returned. The Museum of Contemporary Art started the initiative to return the Grounded Sun to the city tissue. Despite Kožarić’s wishes to have it return to its original location, the Sun was then cast for the first time in bronze with gold leafing. It was placed at the new location on November 12^th 1994. Regardless, intense interactions between the passers-by and the sculpture continue. On the second day after its placement, the sculpture was graffitied. Inspired by the work, permanent or temporary interactions are initiated by artists like Božidar Jurjević, Davor Preis, Andrej Rehak and Igor Grubić.
