Palazzo Buonaccorsi is an 18th-century aristocratic palace, now hosting the Town collections. This prestigious residence was commissioned by the Buonaccorsi family. The palace building – completed in 1718 - is the result of a complex building venture based on the plans of the architects G.B. Contini and Ludovico Gregorini.

The building’s rooms are particularly beautiful and richly decorated. In the noble’s apartment, the rooms are characterized by wooden lacunar ceilings and paintings with mythological subjects displaying Baroque and Rococo elements (like the splendid Hall of the Aeneid).

Today the palace is hosting the Town Collections, including different sections: Ancient art and Hall of the Aeneid, Modern Art and Carriage Museum).
